Fastest Way To Making Income While Solano Unemployment Rate Increases

Let’s face it - finding Solano job openings is too tough. It can take less time to jump start one’s economic prospects by starting a small home business, than wasting over a year hunting for a job says The Solano Business Incubator.  Studies show Solano start-ups beginning in recessions are more likely to last.

The unemployed professional has lower overhead costs (you save from paying someone) and can market their skills for less. Solano Business Incubator offers free help. They have to be free because government agencies offer related services often for a fee. It’s a case of a private business incubator competing with government agencies.

Solano Business Incubator’s partner offers free iPhones, 1,000 business cards and website to get you started. Another program starts at only $75/mo for a Solano Virtual Office™ which gives you a furnished office suite when you want it, along with a mailing address. Great fo home businesses.

More Solano unemployment came from Solano leisure and hospitality, local government layoffs, Solano construction, and the computer - Solano internet - information industry.

Solano County's Fairfield, Rio Vista, Vacaville, Dixon, Benicia and Vallejo unemployment increased 0.1% from August to September 2010. Solano unemployment is doing a bit better than the California unemployment rate of 12.2%.

Instead of sending your resume out like so many others for the few existing Solano jobs primarily in Fairfield, Vacaville, Suisun, Vallejo, plus Napa; starting your business puts you right in front of prospect clients who might hire you. Solano Business Incubator says putting yourself in front of businesses, showing you have the entrepreneurial initiative makes you stand out from the piles of resumes few are reading anyway.

Solano Business Incubator lends money for part of your Solano office overhead, even if your credit isn’t the best. The business incubator prides itself in getting your keys the same day, something the government can’t do.

For example the unemployed one can get a free iPhone (or cash equivalent), 1000 business cards, website, plus two months free furnished office suite. Free phone installation and two months phones and live receptionist to direct your calls. It comes with a six month professional office lease at Fairfield's California Business Center www.CaliforniaBusinessCenter.com. Your short six month lease starts at $495/mo (then reverts to month to month office lease). Most Solano landlords require one year leases for small office suite leases. Long office leases are from $375/mo. Zero deposit. They have a great reputation and there are no gimmicks. You can even keep your business address if you down scale with a Solano Virtual Office. Continue to receive free conference rooms, utilities, high speed internet, kitchen, coffee, janitor, business library and more..! You just need the first month’s rent to start your business and turn a new leaf in your life path. For details call Brandi Rodgers or Steven Kays 707 434-8000.

Fairfield Office Spaces For Rent Doing Better Than Industrial Spaces For Rent

Today Curt Johnston from the Fairfield Economic Development team said Fairfield office spaces for rent are leasing better than Fairfield's industrial spaces. Statistics are needed to see how Solano office spaces for rent are doing.  We suspect Solano office leases are renting up faster than available Solano industrial spaces.

Best Solano City For Renting Office Space. Is Fairfield Still Solano Business Capital?

Steven Kays did an informal survey a few years back. Kays found more people in Vacaville will come to Fairfield for business services. Fewer in Suisun and Fairfield were willing to take the hop over to Vacaville.

Vacaville's shopping and dining scene is another matter.  Kays focused on Solano businesses providing services to Solano residents. He plans on doing another Solano office space survey again, but expects Fairfield will continue to be perceived as Solano's government and business capital.

Studies show there aren't even enough potential tenants looking for vacant Vacaville office space for rent.  They prefer renting Fairfield office space. For example Kays' California Business Center ran generic ads offering office space in Vacaville and Fairfield with pricing, terms and a phone number. No calls came from Vacaville, and two came from Fairfield over a several month time span in spring 2010. The Solano office building with the most suites in Solano County happens to be California Business Center, not only because it offers the most cost affordable packages, but because it's near highways 80 and 680, and just 30 min drive to Berkeley during normal traffic. California Business Center has over 80 professional furnished and unfurnished office suites for rent with prices from $375 a month including utilities, internet, receptionist, conference rooms, and much more. Prices are kept very low because Fairfield may be the business capital, but there aren't enough Solano small businesses looking to expand or contract their Solano office space rentals.

Solano Office Space Rentals Near I-80?

When choosing a Solano office space for rent, consider the driving time to highway I-80. Make it easier for clients and employees to drive to you if needed. Try staying well under one mile. This applies more so for Solano's main business hub Fairfield.  Yet if you can't be in or near Fairfield, get office space rentals in Benicia, Dixon, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Vacaville and Vallejo near I-80 or highway 12.

Expansion Options Before Leasing Solano Office Space

Rent Solano office space in buildings where there are other small suites. Expand into the suites if needed in future.  Save by renting less space now. Why be locked into an office lease that's bigger than your current needs?

As there's no single source listing all Solano office suites available, work with more than one website or commercial real estate broker.

In the autumn of 2010, quality full service office suites in Solano might start at $375 a month if you sign a lease spanning a number of years. It's more if you opt for shorter leases. Full service normally includes electricity and janitorial. But as the other pointers in this blog point out, full service doesn't cover the many other things that may take up your time in keeping your office suite in proper order.

Make sure to do a careful financial analysis for what your complete office overhead costs will be.

If there's one thing you want to remember, always think about what is the most cost effective Solano office space solution for your business in either Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Vacaville, or Vallejo.
